Lowland Leader
Lowland Leader Overview
We are an approved provider for Mountain Training's Lowland Leader Award. This is a nationally recognised leadership qualification, administered by Mountain Training and allows holders of the award to lead groups on day walks in countryside and woodland in summer conditions. The majority of the UK and Ireland is made up of this type of terrain so you'll never be short of places to go walking.

The Lowland Leader qualification is designed for people who wish to lead groups on day walks in lowland countryside and woodland in summer conditions. It is a very accessible qualification and often used for supervisors of DofE expeditions and health and yoga walk leaders.

Mountain Training is committed to ensuring that everyone has equal opportunity to attend our courses. Further information can be found here
Lowland Leader Training Course
Our Lowland Leader training courses are highly informative but also fun and run in a friendly manner. The two day training course is run in The Chilterns and we look at the wide variety of skills needed to lead fun days out in Lowland terrain.
